Baird, thanks for reading and adding some reflections. I am not sure that 'working memory' and 'cognitive patience' are the same thing. Cognitive patience is about focus, quality of attention and the ability to delay gratification (by, say, refraining from tuning into social media channels, and taking the time to let our sense making process slowly mature). So this is also about being able to deal with the psychological discomforts of not knowing and uncertainty.
