Hello Kerry, my base was in the Vallemaggia, south of Switzerland, not far from the Lake Maggiore. The valley reaches deeply into the heart of the Swiss Alps and many of the side valleys that branch off left and right offer enchanting sanctuaries of wildness and seclusion.
